Abstract
This comprehensive lecture navigates the landscape of India, delving into the potential seismic hazard present in different regions. Emphasizing the importance for earthquake resistant construction, the talk underscores the pivotal role played by the steel structures in bolstering structural integrity during seismic events. The webinar explores the inherent strength, flexibility, and ductility of steel making it an optimal choice for constructing buildings capable of withstanding seismic forces.
